The unveiling of the previously teased Leopard Seal, who is not, in fact, a new character. Lamar's taking on a new identity to hide the fact that he's a legally dead accused terrorist. The new armor, similar to his previous Lusca suit is a mechanical muscle suit that aids his mobility and grants him speech. It's been changed from cryptozoological giant octopus to extant predatory marine mammal because of the cat connection, and how some visual cues from K.A.'s armor have been worked into Lamar's new look. Also, it's too big to be compressed and concealed as normal clothes like some of the other armors, but it's still got a more compact form and an instantaneous transformation sequence.

Anyway, I've been giving some thought to how to go about Patreon, and I'm thinking about revising the tier structure to eliminate tiers. $1 gives you all the early access, original concept art, request opportunities, and other options that others have. You can donate more if you're so magnanimous, but unlike the rest of the internet nowadays, there isn't privileged access. In this dark new age with wealth further redistributed, I'm making demonstrating support for my comic as democratized as possible for the convenience of you all.

Ah I could see the influence from K.A had no idea this was Lamar! Very interesting to read his influences. I wonder what his role will be from here on out.

Killing off an old identity can be quite beneficial.

And I like that he's taking some of his new look from KA :)

Oh dang, that teased character was Lamar the whole time! Didn't see that coming!

The twist isn't so much that the teased character is Lamar, but that the strip is moving towards Lamar is its focus

Huh? So the cover character was Lamar? And the suit itself, organic?

I'm always bemused by the cool color schemes you've chosen.

Cats of the sea!

I love the way the suit attaches to his body.

Hmm, so he has trouble even standing up without the suit. Very interesting.
