If you remember a certain conversation Mela had earlier, she clearly prepared for this. But what is up with her body that she can survive a decapitation as a mere inconvenience? Why would she do such a thing? Then again, if you had the capability to back up your entire persona, wouldn't you?

Are those wings on Buer because from the looks of it... he's quite the chicken lol get it... because he's running away. Ha ha

In the Ars Goetia, Buer is depicted as a lion's head at the center of a wheel formation of legs, so running away seems appropriate.

Hah! That's really the villainous thing to do! I love the fist shaking and obviously Mela's re-entrance is pretty badass!

And why didn't I pick up on the chapter title reference until now... shame on me!

You're the first to connect this comic back to the title, so good on you!

It says a lot about your work that you have all these varied references and researched material baked into Wyrecats. I'm actually kind of
curious about your researching process and if it's similar to my own. I obviously draw on things I already know of but I also go out of my way sometimes to research different angles on concepts I want to include in my work. And hopefully I'm able to then put a personal spin on whatever I decide to include.

To be honest, seeing what you come up with and how you work in so many different concepts (real world issues, mythology and even references/themes in line with renowned Japanese movies) into a comic about feline themed power armour heroes and heroines has become a major draw for me when reading your stuff. There's so much value to each update. Its inspiring!

This is one of the most moving replies I've ever gotten. Thank you. Honestly, I'm constantly worried that my interests are too narrow and shallow, so I'm glad that someone thinks this about my comic. I do a lot of browsing various topics and do so upon whim as well as genuine idea, but I also get a lot of this from anime, video games, other comics, etc. I'll keep working to do more.
