Now that K.A. has done exactly what Bryce warned her not to do , she's getting unexpected attention. But are they friend or foe? Who is this man, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, who comes in with his armored soldiers? Will the dog-branded Pinschers get along with the cattiest of the Wyrecats? And do you recognize some other webcomic characters in this page?
DIA Director Jens Larson has Scandinavian ancestry, but he was born and raised the States and is as American as apple pie or waging real wars against abstract concepts.
Also, did you notice the albino, turquoise-eyed girl in the clinic hallway?
OMG! I totalt didnt notice that until just now! That's so cool! Maybe she did take that advice from chapter 1-4 and went to a hospital? I'm a little bit blown away as you might be able to tell! OoO
Three operatives in black power-armor with illuminated red eyes... and they need K.A.? And, Jens finishes his intro with a condescending "Big time hero" ring to his voice. It's a trap!
Perhaps "release the hounds" isn't always the best solution to matters of national security, especially when those hounds are armed with bleeding edge military hardware.

Ooohhh... THIS looks promising (for, you know, drama, not necessarily for K.A.'s future)

I don't trust these guys. Nope, not at all! Also, Jens Larson? Swedish or Scandinavian by any chance?
